New additions to First We Take Berlin

NYPC, Fenech-Soler, London-Grammar, Claire and more confirmed

Berlin Music Week’s club and showcase festival "First We Take Berlin" on 4th and 5th September already announced acts such as Babylon Circus, OK KID, MC Fitti, Mighty Oaks or Kid Simius. Today, the brand-new festival can announce the second wave of acts.

The London-based NYPC can hardly be described in terms of genres. A few years back, the band appeared on screen with the single "Ice Cream" and album Fantastic Playroom At First We Take Berlin, the band will perform songs off its third album.

BBC One presenter Greg James made Fenech-Soler‘s single "Stop And Stare" Record Of The Week and Weekend Anthem. In September, just in time for the Berlin Music Week, the UK band will release its second album, Rituals.

London Grammar just needed a handful of songs to cause a stir in the blogosphere. The band’s EP Metal & Dust reached the top 5 in the Australian iTunes charts. On top, they already played twice at the BBC Radio 1 Live Sessions. With their dreamy and dramatic pop sound, they will also take the stage at First We Take Berlin.

Also new to the line-up: Claire, Asbjørn, Chlöe Howl, I Heart Sharks (DJ-Set), Marla Blumenblatt, Moko, Rejjie Snow, Ruen Brothers, Seams, Daco Junior, Simian Ghost and Tourist.
