Line Up 2011

Berlin Festival wouldn’t be the same without the Berlin Battery Crew’s escapades. Shir Khan, DJ Supermarkt, Jack Tennis and others will take over Club Xberg until the wee hours.

Shir Khan is one of Berlin’s major hotshots: he’s a DJ, remixer, label boss, radio presenter, promoter, and a music blogger as well. By far, his action scope isn’t limited to Berlin only but reaches the far ends of the continent and beyond.

DJ Supermarkt a.k.a. Markus Liesenfeld’s record collection is probably more fancy- than discount foods. As one part of the duo Le Hammond Inferno and founder of Bungalow Records, he has more than once proven his great taste in music – and the same goes for his DJ sets, of course.

You can’t think Berlin nightlife without Jack Tennis. As part of the legendary clubs Rio and Scala, he made himself a name as DJ and producer in the whole of Europe. Renowned production works include remixes for Caribou, Bonaparte and Ed Orable. Releases on Munich’s Gomma label or What What are part of his sets as well as Jack Tennis’ edits of Whitest Boy Alive, Talking Heads or Sebastian Tellier.
