Berlin Festival 2011 » Public Enemy

Line Up 2011

Without Public Enemy, the face of contemporary pop culture would definitely be a different one. Not only did Flavor Flav, Chuck D and co revolutionise the entire hip hop genre with their debut Yo! Bum Rush The Show and the follow-up It Takes A Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, their influence transcends genres from punk to pop to grunge making an impression on such artists as Nirvana, NOFX, Manic Street Preachers, Björk, and Nine Inch Nails. Public Enemy’s last album, How You Sell Soul to a Soulless People Who Sold Their Soul?, was released in 2007. Their new album, Most of Our Heroes Don’t Appear on a Stamp, is scheduled for a release in 2012. At Club Xberg, we might be in for an exciting little teaser…
